Description
In the Name of God is a dramatic short film following David, a troubled young man trapped in a cycle of unemployment while caring for his gravely ill mother. As the pressures of his life intensify, a family friend and priest, Father Sam, offers him help—but David’s growing frustration and loss of faith lead him to reject that support and take matters into his own hands.
Developed as an original narrative production, the film was taken from concept through production and post-production with a performance-driven, cinematic approach. In the Name of God went on to enter the film-festival circuit, continuing 3:13 Films’ focus on character-driven independent storytelling and emotionally grounded drama.
